A denture is worn to replace missing teeth so you can continue to have a full smile. The base of a denture is called a plate and made of either acrylic or metal. The teeth are normally made of acrylic and colored to match your natural teeth. There are 2 types of denture

1. A complete or full denture is one, which replaces all of your natural teeth in either the upper or lower jaw.

2. A partial denture fills the space created by missing teeth and is attached to your natural teeth with metal clasps or devices called precision attachments.
